Beserk Barbie by Mariel Clayton

I’m not sure I’d consider it great art, but it’s entertaining and amuses my ~*inner, dark passenger*~. A decapitated Barbie made a visit to Dexter in season 1, so I think it’s a appropriate reference..

My top 10 best (or worst?) of Mariel Clayton’s Blood Barbie, in no particular order:

1. I wonder what she did with the mixer in the right corner.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2. New Barbie isn’t just a batshit insane serial killer, she’s also quite messy.

3. It’s nice to see she still has her traditional values. In this photo we can see Barbie cleaning the kitchen, just like a good woman should.

4. How do you even go about doing that to someone?

5. Once again in the kitchen, making a nice meal.

6. Raising her family.

7. Note the poster in the background and the coat hanger on the floor.

8. Carving out Halloween decorations.

9.This one is just weird and wrong.

10. Being a role-model for young women everywhere. Screw men, all you need is chocolate and a hot steaming bath.

There’s a lot more of the same stuff at her website. To be honest, I’d do the same thing if I had enough Barbie parts to spare, but the difference is that I’d get bored after arranging the first three scenes. Oh well, girls and their dolls. I’m once again jealous that someone is making money out of this and it isn’t me.

Americans are fucked up.

Yeah, yeah, I know, it’s more a case of “the human race is fucked up” but there are some fine examples of fucked up specimens from the US, and what’s worse is that some of them hold posistions of power. You had the school board executive member stating that he was pleased “gays gave each other AIDS and died”, you have the US representative saying that we don’t need to do anything about climate change because God will save us… Now you got a judge (*headdesk*) saying that he believes lesbians can be converted to heterosexality by having sex with American soldiers. Let your mind be graced by his beautifully articulate words:

“It fell to men to swing through the trees and scour the caves in search of as many women as possible to subdue and impregnate – a tough job but someone had to do it (…) My solution would get the distaff part of our homosexual population off our collective ‘Broke Back,’ thus giving straight male GIs a fair shot at converting lesbians and bringing them into the mainstream.”

I wish people like him would look more like this so I could recognise them faster and have my unicorn-chasers available quicker. Source & Source of pic.

Movie post

I promised a movie post so I will give you a movie post. Here’s the top 3 movies that I want to see:

1. The human centipede

Plot:

Two American girls go on a road trip in Europe. When their car breaks down in the woods of Germany, they get kidnapped by a psycho German surgeon who’s biggest wish is to create a human centipede. He does this by stitching the girls together with a Japanese man, mouth to anus in a chain, so their gastric system will be connected.

Why do I want to see it? II have a deep held belief that all Germans are fucked-up in some way or another and this does nothing but reinforce that idea. 🙂

2. White Dog

Plot: A woman accidentally hits a dog with her car and adopts it. Everything goes well until she finds out that the dog is a racist and brutally murders black people. Oh noes! Obviously she does the sensible thing and takes the dog to a pet shrink instead of putting it down.

Why I want to see it: With that plot, it must be good.

3. Lo Yeti Arrapato

Plot: I can’t even find a summary for this one, but if you skip to ~1:3o  in this clip you’ll see why I want to see it. Clearly the physiology behind this yeti’s nipples are mind-breaking and I must research them further.

Great parenting

38 year old woman gave birth to six newborn babies, murdered them and hid their corpses in the cellar.

Also: “Prosecutor Michel Garrandaux said Lesage brought the five corpses with her when she moved in with Margueritte (her boyfriend and father of 5 of the children), but he didn’t know until he found the bodies in the basement.”

She also has a 14 year old son who is still alive. I wonder what he is feeling right now.

And to finish it off:

Judge forces two girls to spend the weekends with their dad, who is a convicted child sex offender, under the conditions that the girls can lock their bedroom door from the inside. His reasonings went like this:

“The girls must share the same room so they can have the mutual support of one another”.

“The girls are at an age and maturity when awake, dressed and together it would be unlikely the father would act inappropriately toward them”.

“However, at night, when they were asleep or partly asleep and not aware of each other’s whereabouts, they would be less secure.”

I think it’s an interesting/complicated issue with visitation rights and custody of children with convicted child sex offenders, but in this case I’m just reacting to the idiot judge. what. the. heck?
